1 John 3 v1-10
Many people find their
identity security and significance in their job, their wealth and other such
things.
If someone asked you to
describe yourself how would you reply?
See what great love the
Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that
is what we are! (1 John 3v1)
What does it mean to you to
be a child of God?
Our vision statement at St
Marks states that our identity is in Jesus Christ.
Our
identity: is in Jesus Christ: St.Mark’s is a lively, Bible-based
Anglican church, inspired by the Holy Spirit, serving the parish of Lache and
Saltney, where all are very welcome just as they are.
Discuss how this identity
should and will affect the way we behave and act toward God, each other and
those we meet.
