24 Hours of Prayer

5pm Friday 28th Sept to 5 pm Sat 29th Sept @ St. Mark’s Church Lache cum Saltney

Come and join us for a feast of 24hrs prayer

This follows on from last year when in the autumn we met for 24 hrs of prayer as a church to pray for our Parish Weekend in October, and the beginning of seeking God’s vision for His church in Lache-cum-Saltney.  We have had an exciting year as we have come together in prayer and fellowship to discern God’s leading and vision for us as a church, and heard His voice, ‘to be a church called to be God’s people, to worship, serve, and grow, and to see lives of all ages continually transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit’.

Having discerned His vision for us we now need to put it into practice – VIP – vision into practice, and begin to live out this vision every day and everywhere. And to do this we need to pray – everything we do has to be grounded and rooted in prayer.

Therefore can I encourage you to set aside some time during the 24hrs from 5 pm Friday 28th Sept to 5 pm Sat 29th Sept to come along and pray as to how each one of us may become partners in this vision?  Deepening our relationship with God, growing our relationship with one another, and developing our relationship with the local community and wider world’.

The 24 hrs will follow the same structure as last year where each person can come along and just chill out, spending time with God at various prayer stations, or just finding their own space in church to listen, and talk with God. Come for just a few minutes of come for a few hours – but you are guaranteed a powerful encounter with the living God………

Put those 24 hrs in your diaries/phones/ipads NOW

BLESS YOU ALL & PLEASE BEGIN TO PRAY FOR THESE 24hrs IN THE COMING WEEKS
