Fellowship Group Notes from Sunday 10th February 2013

Serving God in the workplace

1 Peter 3:8-16

You can listen to the sermon here.

You may also want to read Luke 19.1-10 and perhaps you could think about Daniel and his friends working in high-profile jobs in Babylon.

  • What are the things you struggle with in living out christian faith where you are most of the week? What would you really value people in your fellowship group praying for you this week?

  • 1 Peter 3.8-16 talks about giving an answer for the hope you have within you when people ask - what might that look like where you are most of the week?

  • How can St Mark's as a church better support and equip people to be the church in the workplace/school/family/community through the week? What could we do as part of our worship, fellowship and structures to connect better with living out our faith through the week?
If you have some good suggestions you may wish to feed them back to the staff team.

Make sure you talk about where you will be the next day - and what you would value prayer for.
